A light, refreshing example of a very popular sparkling wine. The King Valley is renowned for producing outstanding Prosecco grapes, and this wine displays the acidity, freshness and mouthfeel of a structured but well-balanced sparkling.
It is medium-dry, with excellent fruit weight and a hint of residual sugar. It has something for everyone and goes particularly well with seafood, dips and canapés, or simply enjoy a refreshing glass on its own!
Clarnette & Ludvigsen Reserve Grampians Shiraz is rich and generous with its bouquet of blueberry and spice. The palate is velvety sweet, with flavours of blueberries, raspberries and a touch of liquorice spice. I call this Shiraz Essence, as it really expresses the spice, pepper and blueberries that really excite Shiraz followers. This wine is made with Great Western Shiraz grapes will reward for over 20 years, and will peak at around 15 years of age or more.

Our 2024 Rosé showcases what happens when you treat red grapes with a white wine approach. This year we've moved from Cabernet to Sangiovese as the lead variety, blending 90% with Riesling and a splash of Nebbiolo.
The result is a wine with gorgeous copper-pink hues and an inviting mix of fresh summer cherry fruit and gentle savouriness. We've barrel fermented 40% to broaden the mid-palate and create that supple, textured mouthfeel – crisp and dry, yet with flavours that run long and smooth.
Jeni Port from the Halliday Wine Companion awarded this 95 points, noting scents of cherry, redcurrant, spring florals, balsamic and earth. A summer wine that works beautifully on its own or alongside food.
Halliday Wine Companion Review - Awarded 95 Points.
Where cabernet was the principal grape in the '23 rosé, sangiovese now takes its place with a few splashes of riesling and nebbiolo. Delivers the right mix of fresh summer cherry fruit and savouriness. Copper-pink hues. Inviting scents of cherry, redcurrant, spring florals, balsamic and earth. While crisp, succinct and dry, partial barrel fermentation has broadened the mid-palate bandwidth with a supple texture, allowing flavours to run long and smooth with a savoury finish. With or without food, it's a winner.

Following on from 2019 when we last made the wine, this is in that same mould.
Juicy peach and apricot with just a hint of oak! I sourced these grapes from the Pyrenees this year as I used our own in our Grampians shiraz which has around 4%.
Great accompanying to a mushroom pie or facing off against a Gorgonzola cheese with chorizo sausage
